Biography

Eric H. Luckman was born in New York on April 4, 1958. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from Brandeis University in Massachusetts in 1980 and his law degree, from the University of Miami, in 1983. He is a member of the following professional organizations:

  • The Association of Trial Lawyers of America
  • The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (Member, Insurance Committee and Legislative Key Contact Committee)
  • The Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association (President, 1999)
  • The Palm Beach County Bar Association (Member, Medical/Legal Committee)
Eric resides in Boynton Beach with his wife, Joanne and their three daughters, Jena, Emily and Rebecca. He is an avid runner and basketball player.

Eric Luckman is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a Civil Trial Lawyer.

To become a certified specialist, a lawyer must:

  • be an active member in good standing of The Florida Bar
  • have practiced law for a
    minimum of five years
  • pass a written examination in the specialty area
  • demonstrate substantial
  • experience in the specialty area
  • complete approved continuing legal education programs
  • have the ability and experience in the specialty field and be favorably evaluated by judges and other lawyers
